The veteran leader of the opposition said, becoming PM twice is a big deal; PM Modi himself disclosed, know then what was the answer

Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) says that there is no possibility of them slowing down at the moment. PM Modi said, ‘One day, a senior leader met me. He regularly opposes us politically, but I respect him a lot. He was not happy on some issues, so came to meet me. He said that the country has made you Prime Minister twice, so what more do you need now. He believed that if someone becomes PM twice, he has achieved everything.

‘Modi made of a different clay’

PM Modi further said that his dream is fulfillment and cent percent coverage of welfare schemes. He further said, ‘They do not know that Modi is made of a different soil. The land of Gujarat has made them. That’s why I don’t believe in taking it for granted, like whatever happened is over and now I should take rest. No, my dream is fulfillment, there is 100% coverage of welfare schemes.

His remarks came a month after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar met the Prime Minister in Delhi and raised the issue of action by central agencies against the family members of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

‘I was sent from Gujarat to Delhi to serve the country’

PM Narendra Modi, who was the chief minister of Gujarat before coming to Delhi, also completed eight years of the BJP-led government at the Center later this month. He further said that since you sent me from Gujarat to Delhi to serve the country, this will be the eighth year. These eight years have been devoted to service, poor welfare, good governance.

While addressing the Utkarsh function through video conference, Prime Minister Modi said that due to lack of information, sometimes the schemes remain on paper and sometimes unscrupulous people take advantage of these schemes. The process of reaching every beneficiary was difficult but it was also the only way to serve the people. He said, ‘When we achieve 100 percent target in any scheme, it means that the governance-administration is sensitive. When there is saturation, all scope for discrimination ends. No recommendation is needed. When the 100 percent target is achieved, the politics of appeasement ends, there is no room for that.

The Utkarsh function was organized in Bharuch district on the occasion of completion of 100 percent target of four major government schemes of Gujarat government.
