New Delhi District Police, bomb disposal squad also reached the spot as soon as the information about the suspicious object was lying. The police team and CISF personnel present on the spot for a long time were busy sweating, busy in identifying the suspicious thing. After hours of hard work, when the reality came to know, the teams of Delhi Police beat their heads.
According to DCP New Delhi District Dr Ish Singhal, at around 10 am on Monday morning, the Delhi Police Control Room was informed that something suspicious had been lying on the road near the National Media Center. Which looks like a plastic toy. As soon as the information was received, there was a stir among the CISF force personnel posted under the security of the New Delhi District Police and National Media Center. On receiving the information, the bomb disposal squad also reached the spot.
Officials told mock drill

That thing looked nothing more than a plastic toy. According to DCP New Delhi, if no suspicious item was found on the spot in the investigation which took place seriously, the police team returned. On the other hand, when the officers of the Central Industrial Security Force opened the reality after this exercise, the Delhi Police and CISF personnel beat their heads. CISF officials termed this exercise as “mock drill”.
Youngsters are better in Mockdrills
Later on Monday afternoon, DCP New Delhi Dr. Ish Singhal also confirmed that, CISF officials also informed him later that it was a mockdrill. To know how soon and how the CISF personnel deployed under the security of the National Media Center give “Reaction” on this information. A top CISF officer present in Delhi, on the condition of not disclosing his identity, said, “We do such mockdrills from time to time. So that the immediate response of his soldiers posted in security can be seen. As far as the mockdrill that took place outside the National Media Center on Monday is concerned, our jawans were excellent in this mockdrill. “
