Police has arrested the national player of kabaddi from Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The police has arrested the national player in the case of illegal arms smuggling. Along with the national player, the police have also arrested 3 more people. Police have recovered 5 pistols from the accused. The arrested Rinku Jat is a national Kabaddi player. He plays in Pro Kabaddi League tournament. In 2018, Rinku Jat played with Dabang Delhi team. Let us tell you that the accused had brought the pistol from Burhanpur.
Guna SP Rajeev Kumar Mishra said that on Wednesday, he had received information that three-four miscreants from Guna had left for Shivpuri in Creta car carrying pistols and other types of weapons. The SP said that as soon as the information was received, the police team reached near the Myna over bridge and blocked it. As soon as the car reached the bridge after some time, the police siege and stopped the car.
Police took the accused into custody
There were 4 people in the car when the police took the accused into custody. In this Ramprasad alias Deepak age 33, Rinku Jat age 22, Aamir Khan age 26 and Mahendra Rawat age 47. In the search, 5 pistols including magazines, three additional magazines were found from the accused. The police have also confiscated the pistol and the car. The accused told during interrogation that they had brought pistols from Sigligars of Burhanpur. The accused have also given the name of that person. After which the police will soon take action against that person and arrest him.
The accused is a player of Pro Kabaddi
Rinku Jat has also previously played for Bengal Warriors. He plays as a defender in Kabaddi. The accused Mahendra Rawat resident Shivpuri was arrested in the year 2019 by Gwalior Crime Branch while smuggling weapons. 10 pistols and rounds were recovered from him. The criminal records of the accused are also being checked.
