The miscreants who came here in number four robbed about 8 kg of gold from IIFL Gold Finance Company in Police Colony area of Gardnibagh police station area and escaped from the spot. Earlier on Friday, criminals also carried out the incident of robbery at Mahalaxmi Jewelers in the police colony itself.
About one and a half hours ago, jewelery worth more than two lakhs was robbed from Mahalaxmi Jewelery Shop, located 100 meters away from the Gold Loan Company. The criminals who came here in number five took Raghunath Prasad, father of shop owner Arvind Kumar, at gun point and robbed the gold and silver jewelery kept in the shop.

Earlier on Thursday, a case of looting of jewelery and cash worth two crores came to light from a jewelery shop in broad daylight at Patepur in Vaishali, Bihar. After the robbery, the criminals also took the DVR of the CCTV installed in the shop with them. Gopal Prasad, the owner of Krishna Jewelers, who was a victim of the robbery, told that he beat me and took the key of the cupboard and robbed my life’s earnings and left.
