Bhawan Singh Rana, a resident of Bagori, tells that the villagers have ancestral land in Nelang and Jadung, but till date the villagers have not received compensation for their land, nor has the village been displaced. The villagers are still pleading for help from the central government for displacement. Rana says that in the year 2018, he reached Harshil to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers of the army.
