Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Governor Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra received him at the State Hangar of Bhopal Airport. From there he has left for Lal Parade. He will reach Lal Parade Ground in a while by helicopter. The Prime Minister will attend the high profile meeting of the Army going on in Bhopal.
CM Chouhan said that “Prime Minister Modi is the creator of a magnificent, glorious, prosperous and strong New India. The blessings of the Prime Minister are always with us in the development works that we are able to do on the land of Madhya Pradesh. He is warmly welcome on his arrival in Madhya Pradesh,” he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ongoing Joint Commanders’ Conference-2023 in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal. The three-day conference of military commanders began on 30 March. Today is his last day. The theme of this conference is ‘Ready, Resurgent and Relevant’. During the conference, various issues are being discussed in view of the joint preparations related to the battlefield of the armed forces. There will also be a review of the progress of the defense ecosystem towards the preparedness of the armed forces and achieving ‘self-reliance’.
Commanders of the three armed forces and senior officials of the Ministry of Defense are participating in this.
BJP postponed the road show
The Prime Minister will flag off the Vande-Bharat Express train running between Bhopal-based Rani Kamlapati Railway Station and New Delhi. 216 students will travel as the first passenger in the Vande Bharat train. On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has postponed the road-show, flower shower and welcome program to be held in Bhopal to welcome the Prime Minister after the death of 36 devotees in the tragic incident at Beleshwar Mahadev Temple in Indore on Thursday.
