Giving information, an official said that about 2,500 domestic and foreign exhibitors will exhibit their products in this 14-day trade fair at Pragati Maidan, which will mainly include exhibitors from many countries including Britain and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), a unit of the commerce ministry that organizes the trade fair, said Bihar, Jharkhand and Maharashtra are ‘partner states’ while Uttar Pradesh and Kerala are ‘focus states’ this year. Explain that the foreign participation is from 12 countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Belarus, Iran, Nepal, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and UK.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a statement that it will sell IITF admission tickets from November 14 for ‘Business Days’ (November 14-18) and from November 19 for ‘General Public Days’ (November 19-27). Will start selling. Also said that IITF entrance tickets will be available only at 67 selected metro stations. These include Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda, Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, Seelampur, Indralok, Netaji Subhash Place, Rohini West, Rithala, Noida City Center, Mandi House and Barakhamba stations. However, IITF tickets will not be sold at the Supreme Court Metro station adjacent to Pragati Maidan.
Staff will be deployed as per need
A senior official said that keeping in view the rush during the trade fair, additional metro token counters, guards, officers and staff will be deployed at Supreme Court Metro station and other stations as per the requirement. This trade fair was organized for the first time in 1979. The fair was not organized in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the second time in history that the fair was not organized. This happened for the first time in 1980.
