While till now it was said that at least three doses are needed to prevent cervical cancer.
A study was conducted on 2250 women at the Kenya Medical Research Institute, in which it has been found that only one dose of the vaccine can prevent up to 98 percent of the disease. The vaccine is effective on all strains of cancer-causing virus. It has been said in this research that if even one dose is applied, then women can be saved from cancer to a great extent in future. Countries which have less vaccination or there is a shortage of vaccine, then according to the study of this study, they can proceed with the vaccination. Single dose step can be taken in more populated countries.
Get HPV vaccine for girls at this age

Vaccination has been done only 16 percent
According to the World Health Organization, only 16 percent of eligible girls worldwide have received the HPV vaccine. This is happening because of the lack of awareness about the vaccine.
Dr. Anshuman Kumar says that now there is a need to think seriously about HPV vaccination. This is because cervical cancer is spreading rapidly in India as well. This is seen as a big problem in women. In such a situation, there is a need to take steps for protection.
