Empier has announced a 5 -year or 75,000 km battery warranty for its Nexus Electric Scooter. It is one of the longest battery warranties in India's electric two-wheeler segment. This warranty will apply to all variants of Nexus. The biggest concern in electric vehicles is about the life and price of the battery. Keeping this in mind, the company has decided to increase the warranty, so that customers get confidence and reduce the hesitation in adopting the EV.
Ampere has also introduced new finance schemes, in which the interest rate starts at 6.99% and down payment has also been reduced. The aim is that more people can easily buy this scooter, especially when the demand for electric scooters is increasing in the market.
A family-friendly scooter
Ampere Nexus is a family friendly electric scooter. It has a lithium-ion battery, which gives a range of 100 to 110 km in real world conditions. Its top speed is 93 kmph and the battery takes about 3 hours 22 minutes to get full charge.
Price and market status
The initial ex-showroom price of electric scooters is ₹ 1,14,900. Amid the growing competition, Ampere has given these warranty and financial options to increase the confidence of customers and increase sales. Overall, this step of ampere is considered a major step towards strengthening both customer trust and market share.
Electric scooter features
The feature list of Nexus is also very good. Nexus has a TFT display with a 7 -inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity. Once the rider connects his phone to the console, he can access the call and message information on the dash. It also has a turn-by-turn navigation. Being Nexus EX, Lower-Spec model gives small, 6.2-inch segmented LCD and low connectivity features. It lacks navigation, music control and auto day/night mode for screen.
