Panchayat…. Amazon is the web series of prime video, seeing which urban people also start talking about the relationship lying on the village cot. This show, which has been ruling the hearts of the audience continuously for 8 years, has returned with its fourth season. The 'Panchayat' showed in the first three seasons how a story can win millions of hearts without abuses, glamor or big twist. But, now that season 4 is in the field, the question is whether the Phulera people won the heart or just tasted the old taste? Let's talk about the issue directly without any logging.
The first three seasons made their identity as a 'comfort watch', which used to run at a slow pace but kept the audience tied with her characters and their small quarrels. In season 1, Abhishek's coordination with the village, the growing dominance of the head of the election in season 2 and the increasing dominance of Banarakus, and the plot of attack on Pradhan Ji in season 3 was something special in every season, which used to carry forward the story. This is also all in season 4, but is this newness this time which was in the previous season? The answer is – a little yes, not a little!

Story
The story of this season of 'Panchayat' mainly revolves around two big issues. On the one hand, the gulm of the election in Phulera, where the groups of Manju Devi and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) are face to face. On the other hand, Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar) has a counter FIR pressure filed by Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar). Abhishek is very concerned about the results of his CAT exam and admission in business school, and the FIR against him can turn water on his expectations. Now to know what will happen next, you have to turn to Prime Video and watch the Panchayat Season 4.
Learn how the series is
Like the last 3 seasons, 'Panchayat 4' also captivates its simplicity and characters. The acting of all the characters is as usual as usual, and the atmosphere of the village seems real. But the story is slightly slow and newness is low, which can sometimes be boredom. Some scenes seem without meaning. Nevertheless, if you like a light story, then you will also like this season.
Directing
Director Deepak Kumar Mishra has also introduced Phulera with us well this time. The biggest feature of his direction is that he shows the reality of the village without any design. Actually the script of this series is its backbone. Writer Chandan Kumar has given full justice to his work this time too. The dialogues of this series are so comfortable that after listening to them, it seems as if only a neighbor is sharing knowledge. To say big things in small sentences, and take a deep pinch in a light tone, this is the USP of 'Panchayat'. However, the more attention he has given on dialogues, the more he gave on the story, then the matter was something else.

Acting
All the artists of the panchayat have won the hearts of the audience with their acting this season. Jitendra Kumar is as excellent as Abhishek Tripathi. The anxiety on his screen and his 'slow-burn' matches the quiet atmosphere of the village. Raghubir Yadav is tired in the role of Pradhan Ji, but seems to be effective again as an experienced leader. Nina Gupta has shown her political ambitions in the form of Manju Devi. Vikas (Chandan Roy) and Pralhad (Faisal Malik) do their work honestly as usual. On the other hand, Bhushan, Binod and Madhav and Kranti Devi have also supported them.
What did you like
- Simplicity and desi charm
The clay stories of the village, the problems of the common man and the things on the village chaupal are all the foundations of the 'Panchayat'. This simplicity remains completely intact in season 4. You get out of the urban runaway and get lost in the calm streets of Phulera. If you are thinking that this time there will be some big spectacle, then sir, this is 'Panchayat', no Hollywood film! There will be peace here, not a blast.
- Magic of characters
Jitendra Kumar (Abhishek Tripathi), Raghubir Yadav (Pradhan ji), Nina Gupta (Manju Devi), Chandan Roy (Vikas) and Faisal Malik (Prahlada) These characters have now become not just onscreen characters, but our family members. Our emotional connection with them is so deep that no matter how slow the story goes, they cannot stop looking at them. Their tip, furious for each other, and those moments of laughter… everything touches the heart.
- Glimpse of everyday life
This show does not run after a fancy plot. Here there is talk of small difficulties of the village-sometimes tap water, sometimes electricity bill, sometimes someone married someone. This is a glimpse of everyday life, which makes it very real and relative.

What are the flaws
- Lack of newness
This season it seems that the makers are reluctant to get out of their 'panchayat' identity. Instead of bringing a new twist or a big change in the story, they are running on the same old pattern. If you have been watching for three seasons, how small tricks go in the politics of the village, then the same is here. Newness is very rare, like listening to the remix of the old song, it seems 'Enjoyed, but not like the original!'
- Story is going on in slow motion
The slow pace of 'Panchayat' is its specialty, but this time in many episodes, this series looks a bit slow. It seems that the story is stuck there instead of moving forward. If you are the audience who wants to see something bigger in every episode, then 'Panchayat 4' can take your patience (Peshnas) exam.
- There is no strength in creativity
In some places, especially in the fifth episode, the subplot associated with Manju Devi's father seems to be slightly drawn and meaningless. It seems as if just had to fill an episode, then filled it. It does not make any special contribution to the main plot and looks a bit cumbersome.
Don't see it
Overall, 'Panchayat season 4' is a 'comfort watch'. Even though there will not be a twist or faction '' 'twist' ', but this series takes you to the world of true difficulties and emotions. If you are relaxed, light-hearted and fond of ground stories, then this season will not disappoint you. Just don't expect too much.
