Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
A cabinet meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar. 24 agendas were approved in this meeting. In which a big plan has been made to fully develop Punaura Dham of Sitamarhi district like Ayodhya. About 883 crore rupees will be spent on this work. CM Nitish himself has given information about this. The government has approved this scheme.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wrote on the social media site X that I am very happy to tell that the plan to construct other structures including the grand temple to develop the birthplace of Jagat Janani Maa Janaki, Sitamarhi in a holistic manner has been approved by the cabinet today. Today, 882 crore 87 lakh has been approved for the large scheme prepared for the overall development of Punaura Dham in the cabinet. This scheme will soon be functioning.

CM wrote that I have instructed to laid the foundation stone till August. We are committed to complete the grand temple construction in Punaura Dham, Sitamarhi soon. Its development will be done on the lines of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area, Ayodhya. The construction of a grand temple of Maa Janaki in Punaura Dham is a matter of good fortune and pride for all the countrymen and especially for all of us Biharis.
Second cabinet meeting in a week
As the assembly elections are getting closer, the government is also intensifying its work. This is the reason that there is a continuous meeting. The last meeting of the Nitish cabinet was held on 24 June, in which a total of 46 agendas were approved.
In order to print the ballot papers used in the Bihar assembly election 2025 elections, the Bihar government has decided that the Saraswati Press Limited of Kolkata will be printed.
