The G20 summit in Bali has started today. Many world leaders are participating in it. The conference will discuss the challenges posed by the COVID-19 global epidemic and Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is present in Bali, Indonesia to participate in the G20 summit. On reaching Bali, PM Modi first met US President Joe Biden. Both the leaders embraced each other lovingly and got to know each other’s well being. The Prime Minister’s Office has shared a picture of the meeting of Biden and Modi from its social media account, seeing that it can be gauged that how deep is the friendship between the two leaders. Whenever Biden has met PM Modi, a different glow and happiness have been seen on his face. The US President has expressed his style on many occasions that how much he is influenced by Prime Minister Modi.
After arriving at the Bali airport on Monday, PM Modi was accorded a warm and colorful welcome in a traditional style. A large number of people from the Indian community were present to greet the PM. Along with Joe Biden, PM also shook hands with French President Emmanuel Macron and welcomed him. Earlier, Indonesian President Joko Widodo had given him a warm welcome. The G20 summit in Bali has started today. Many global leaders are participating in it. The challenges arising from the COVID-19 global pandemic and Russia’s attack on Ukraine will be discussed in the conference.

Will meet Jinping!
Before the summit officially started, Indonesian President Joko Widodo welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the venue. Indonesia is the current chairman of the G20 Group. India will formally assume the presidency of the G20 from December 1. On the sidelines of the G20 summit, Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral meetings with Indonesian President Widodo, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, French President Emmanuel Macron and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Wednesday. However, whether or not the Prime Minister will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, it is not clear at the moment.
These issues will be discussed in the G20 summit
If there is a meeting between the two leaders, it will be their first bilateral meeting after the violent clash between the armies of India and China in the Galvan Valley in June 2020. There is also no mention of a separate meeting with Britain’s new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, but Prime Minister Modi is likely to have a bilateral meeting with him. Prime Minister Modi had said on Monday that he would discuss in detail with the leaders of the G20 group in Bali the challenges of reviving global economic growth, ensuring food and energy security, and solving issues related to health and digital transformation.
PM Modi will meet leaders of many countries
The PM had said that on the sidelines of the G-20 summit, he would meet leaders of several other participating countries and review the progress in India’s bilateral relations with them. Explain that in the G-20 group, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Britain, America and European Union (EU).
