Suez Canal The authority said that Egypt A cargo ship stuck in the waterway has been pulled out. Leith Agencies, a company providing service in the canal, said that a ship named MV Glory was headed for Ismailia. Suez Canal Province K was stuck near the town of Kantara. The company said that three canal tugboats were deployed to tow the vessel. The authorities have no information as to why the ship got stuck. The weather was bad on Sunday in some parts of Egypt, including the northern provinces.
The company providing services in the canal said on Monday that a cargo ship was stuck in Egypt’s Suez Canal. It was not immediately clear whether the traffic in the canal was affected due to the vessel getting stuck. Satellite tracking data analyzed by a global news agency shows that the cargo ship, named MV Glory, got stuck in a single-lane stretch of the Suez Canal south of Port Said on the Mediterranean Sea.
The whole world was affected by the trap of Ever Given
MV Glory is not the first ship to get stuck in this crucial waterway. Earlier in the month of March, a cargo ship named Ever Given got stuck in a single lane stretch here, which increased the difficulties of the world. In March 2021, the waterway was affected for 6 days due to the cargo vessel getting stuck and trade was affected worldwide. The 400-metre (1,310 ft) vessel was loaded with approximately 18,300 containers.
Consignment of 65000 metric tonnes of maize in MV Glory
Ever Given was taken out after a lot of effort through tugboats. There is a trade of $ 9 billion per day through this Suez Canal. The Joint Coordination Committee in Istanbul loaded 65000 metric tonnes of corn in MV Glory Vessel which was going from Ukraine to China. Employees of Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian and United Nations work in this committee.
