Country’s first Bharat Gaurav Tourist TrainBharat Gaurav Tourist Train) will start from June 21. This is the first such train related to the Ramayana circuit, which will cross the country’s border and reach abroad i.e. Nepal. This train is the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism (Swadesh Darshan Scheme) under Ramayana circuit (Ramayana Circuit) will run. The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will pass through those historical parts of India and Nepal where the feet of Lord Shri Ram lay and have been important milestones of his life. This train will have 14 coaches, which will be operated by IRCTC (IRCTC) will do. Many types of facilities will be available in this train for the passengers.

- Coach: This 14-coach train will have 11 air-conditioner 3-tier coaches. It will have pantry car and restaurant car facility. Apart from this, a separate staff will be deployed in each coach. Keeping every coach clean will be included in the priority of IRCTC.
- Food and Amenities: Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train (Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train food) Completely vegetarian food will be available. IRCTC officials say that the train will have an infotainment system. CCTV cameras will be installed for security. Guards will be present to look after it.
- How many passengers will travel: According to the report of Indian Express, about 600 passengers will be able to travel in this train. Till May 26, 293 passengers have booked for the Ramayana circuit from India to Nepal.
- How much will the ticket get: A fee of Rs 62,370 from a passenger for traveling the entire Ramayana circuit ,Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train fare, will be taken. This is the sum of the entire package. It also includes the fee for the facilities provided to the passengers. To travel, it will be mandatory for the passenger to give a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination.
- How many days will be the tour: It will be an 18 day tour. The train will start from Delhi’s Safardarjung railway station. From here the passengers will board the train. The first stop of the journey will be Ram Janmabhoomi i.e. Ayodhya. Apart from this, the train will reach Buxar in Bihar where tourists will be able to see Rishi Vishwamitra’s ashram and Ramrekha Ghat built on the banks of the Ganges.
- Will reach Nepal via Bihar: This train will reach Janakpuri in Nepal via Madhubani in Bihar. Here tourists will stay for an overnight and will be able to visit the Ram-Janaki temple. After this the train will return to India via Sitamarhi in Bihar, which is considered to be the birthplace of Mother Sita. After this the tourists will reach the temple of Banaras and Chitrakoot.
- The train will reach Sankat Mochan’s birthplace: After Chitrakoot, the train will reach Hampi in Karnataka via Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik and Panchavati, which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. After this the train will return to Delhi after visiting the temple of Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi.
