Saurashtra has once again made it to the finals of the Ranji Trophy by showing a brilliant game. This team has made it to the final by defeating Karnataka captained by Mayank Agarwal in the semi-finals on Sunday. To win Saurashtra, only 115 runs were needed in the fourth innings, which they scored by losing six wickets and made it to the title match. This team will face Bengal in the final. Bengal has made it to the final by defeating the current winner Madhya Pradesh.

After this is the number of Mumbai which played the final four times in a decade. Saurashtra has reached the final for the eighth time in total. Bengal has reached the final for the 15th time in total and this team will try to win the title match for the third time.
Nickin’s century wasted
Karnataka started the fifth day of the match played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Karnataka proceeded the innings with 123 runs at the loss of four wickets. Nikin Jose, who returned unbeaten on 54 runs on the fourth day, scored a century and took his team to a score of 234. Nikin was dismissed as the 10th wicket of his team. He scored 109 runs in 161 balls with the help of nine fours. Apart from him, Mayank played an inning of 55 runs. Krishnappa Gautam contributed 23 and Vijaykumar Vysak contributed 2 runs.
Karnataka had scored 407 runs in the first innings. Saurashtra then scored 527 runs and took a lead of 120 runs. Karnataka then scored 234 runs, giving Saurashtra a target of 115 runs.
Saurashtra got in trouble
This target was easy but Saurashtra found it difficult to achieve it. Saurashtra’s team was losing wickets continuously but captain Arpit Vasavada kept one end and scored an unbeaten 47 runs to win the team. Apart from him, Chetan Sakaria scored 27 runs. Vasuki Kaushik and Gautam took three wickets each for Karnataka.
