In the Eliminator match, Lucknow, captained by KL Rahul, was defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore by 14 runs. Harshal and Hazlewood snatched the match

Lucknow needed 41 runs in the last three overs, but Harshal Patel got the wicket of Marcus Stoinis in this over, who snatched the batsman from Lucknow. Then in the next over, Josh Hazlewood secured the team’s victory by taking the wickets of KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya in two consecutive balls. Lucknow needed 24 runs in the last over, but Dushmanta Chamira could hit only one six against Harshal in this over and Lucknow’s innings ended on 193 runs.
Patidar’s sensational century
Earlier, Bangalore’s innings was in the name of only one player – Rajat Patidar. The right-handed batsman from Madhya Pradesh scored the first century of his T20 career and took Bangalore to a big score. Bangalore scored 207 runs for the loss of four wickets on Patidar’s unbeaten innings of 112 runs. Patidar, who was included in RCB due to Lavneet Sisodia’s injury, played a strong innings for Bangalore for the second time this season. He scored a brilliant century in just 54 balls with the help of 12 fours and seven sixes. Apart from him, Dinesh Karthik once again showed his finisher style and added 92 runs with Patidar.
In the first qualifier, rain was not affected, but this time due to rain, the match started with a delay of about 40 minutes.
