New Delhi: The Border-Gavaskar series of four Test matches between India and Australia has ended recently. In this series, Team India won 2-1. Now both these teams will clash in the final of the ICC World Test Championship in June. This match will start from June 7 at The Oval ground in England. But former Australia player Brad Hogg is not happy that this match will be played in June. He has slammed the ICC for this. Before this title match, IPL-2023 is organized in India and after this match Australia has to play Ashes series against England.
Hogg says that by waiting for this match till June, the fans will lose their interest in it. He says that the ICC has given a long gap in organizing this match. The Indian team will play the final of the World Test Championship for the second time in a row. Earlier, he was defeated by New Zealand in the title match.

What is ICC doing?
Hogg criticized the holding of the ICC Test Championship final in June on his YouTube channel and questioned the apex body of cricket. He said on his YouTube channel, “What is the ICC doing? All the main matches are over and now we have to wait for three months. This is not good for the fans. ICC please wake up. Till then the excitement and thrill would have ended by then. After the IPL, when the final of the World Test Championship is held, by then everyone would have seen enough cricket and may not be interested in the final.
reached the finals like this
It seemed certain that India and Australia would go to the final of the Test Championship, but everyone was eyeing the series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka, which could spoil India’s game. India had made its way easier by winning both the opening matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. At the same time, Australia won the third Test match played in Indore and made it to the final. Now the future of India going to the final depended on the first Test played between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. In this match, Sri Lanka got defeated in a thrilling match and India’s final ticket was cut.
