Hyderabad: Rajasthan Royals got the start they needed in the first match. This start was given by Joss Butler, the main batsman of the team and famous for his stormy game. Butler expressed his intentions in the very first match. He started hitting the Hyderabad bowlers from the very first over. The bowlers started trembling because of such a hit. Butler also made a stormy fifty root record in the very first match. Although Butler could not last long after completing the half-century and got out, but he did his job.
Young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal came to start the innings with Butler. Learning from Butler, this left-handed batsman scored runs fast and as a result, Rajasthan got a stormy start. Such a start which is necessary for every team.

Butler hit a four on the second ball of the very first over. After this, his bat started spewing fire. Jaiswal hit a four in the next over. From the third over, both of them did a bad job to the Hyderabad bowlers. Butler completed his half-century by hitting Farooqui on the third ball of the sixth over. He scored his half-century in just 20 balls, which is the fastest half-century of this season. After this he hit another four and then Farooqui bowled him on the next ball. He faced a total of 22 balls and hit three sixes apart from seven fours. Rajasthan scored 85 runs in the powerplay. This is the sixth highest powerplay score in IPL.
Butler became the Orange Cap winner
Rajasthan had stepped into the finals last season but this team could not win the title. This was only the second final of this team. Butler’s role was very important in getting him here. He scored four centuries in IPL-2022 and scored 863 runs in 17 matches at an average of 57.53. Apart from four centuries, he had scored as many half-centuries. He was the highest run-scorer in the season and that is why he was able to win the Orange Cap.
