Hyderabad: Today is the third day of IPL-2023. It was seen in the matches played in the first two days that the team playing at home has won. However, Rajasthan Royals broke this sequence on Sunday. They defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad at their home by a huge margin of 72 runs. This match was considered to be a match between Rajasthan’s aggressive batting and Hyderabad’s stormy batting, in which Rajasthan’s batting won. But a bowler from Rajasthan played a big role in his victory and weakened Hyderabad. This bowler is Trent Boult.
This left-arm bowler has also made a record in this match and left behind an Indian bowler. Bolt bowled four overs of his quota against Hyderabad and took two wickets for 21 runs. During this, he had one over maiden.
game done in first over
Bolt shocked Rajasthan in the very first over. That too not one or two. Bolt bowled Abhishek Sharma on the third ball of the first over. Bolt bowled a yorker which Abhishek could not understand and got caught. Abhishek had no answer to Bolt’s outswing yorker. After this, even on the fifth ball, Bolt gave another blow to Hyderabad. Rahul Tripathi was the pivot of Hyderabad’s batting in front. Boult bowled the fifth ball full length outside the off stump, which Tripathi wanted to play towards the third man with the gesture of the bat. But the ball took the edge of the bat and went into the slip. Standing there was Jason Holder who dived to his left and took a brilliant catch and sent Tripathi away. Hyderabad could not recover from these two shocks given by Bolt. His account was not even opened in the first over and he lost his two wickets.

With this, Bolt left behind former Indian fast bowler Praveen Kumar. Bolt has come second in the list of bowlers who have taken the most wickets in the first over in IPL. He took 17 wickets in the first over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Hyderabad is ahead of him who has taken 20 wickets. Praveen has a total of 15 wickets in the first over.
Chahal did the trick
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took advantage of the success that Boult had given to his team in the opening overs and did not allow the Hyderabad batsmen to score runs in the Hyderabad middle overs and also took wickets. Chahal gave just 17 runs in four overs of his quota and took four wickets. He dismissed Mayank Agarwal, Hyderabad’s most expensive player Harry Brook, Adil Rashid and captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Impact player Abdul Samad scored the most unbeaten 32 runs from Hyderabad.
