A five-match T20 series is to be played between India and South Africa, but this series is happening without any bio-bubble, which is the first time in India in two years.
The South African team that visited India has been hit by the corona virus. Team’s star batsman Aidan Markram has been hit by Corona (Aiden Markram Covid-19 Positive). In New Delhi on Thursday, June 9, just before the first T20 match between the two teams, information was received about the South African batsman getting infected. Team captain Tamba Bavuma told at the time of toss that Markram could not be available for selection due to Corona. However, Bavuma did not say since when he has been infected and whether any other member of the team also has the infection. There has also been no statement from Cricket South Africa regarding this.
There is a five match series between India and South Africa and it is being played without any bio-bubble. This is the first time since the start of the corona virus epidemic in 2020, when the Board of Control for Cricket in India did not keep any kind of bio-bubble for any series being held in India.
