The second match of the 5 -match Test series between India and England is going to start from July 2. The match will be played at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. Team India, running 0–1 in the series, will have to change history to return. Actually, India has not won a single test yet Edgbaston. At the same time, in this match, Team India will also have to avoid a big mistake, otherwise it may have to face huge losses.

This mistake will be heavy for Team India

In fact, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently made many major changes in the rules of sports to make cricket's oldest format Test cricket fast and interesting. Its impact will now be seen from the Indo-England Edgebeston Test. Recently, ICC has announced to implement Stop Clock Rules in Test cricket. This rule is already applicable in T20 and ODI cricket and now it has also been included in Test cricket.

Under the Stop Clock Rules, the fielding team will be given a maximum of 60 seconds to start the over. If a team does not follow this time limit, it will be warned twice the first. But if the violation of the rule continues even after this, then a penalty of five runs will be imposed every time from the third time. This penalty will be deducted from the score of the fielding team, which will directly benefit the batting team. In such a situation, Team India will have to take care of this rule in Edgbaston Test, otherwise it may suffer a huge loss.

Short run will also have to take care

The ICC has also changed the rule of short run for all three formats. In such a situation, if any batsman in this Test deliberately tries to take a short run, then the umpire will ask the fielding team which of the two batsmen on the pitch want the batsman on strike. Along with this, a fine of 5 runs will also be imposed. Earlier, a fine of only 5 runs was imposed. Recently, the rules of change in the rules of catching catch on the boundary were approved, which will be applicable in this match.
