In the sting operation, Chetan Sharma alleged that despite being 80 to 85 percent fit, players take injections to make a quick return to professional cricket. The former India fast bowler also alleged that there were differences between him and the team management over Bumrah’s return for the T20I series against Australia in September. Bumrah is currently out of the team and is unlikely to feature in the four-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy and subsequent three-match ODI series against Australia.
