What India Thinks Today Global Summit (What India Thinks Today Global Summit) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan arrived in (Dharmendra Pradhan) Said, after 34 years, the National Education Policy has been brought in the country. Just as a draft was prepared while making the Constitution of India a lot of discussion, talking to a lot of people, similarly NEP 2020 has been prepared after a long deliberation. This is a step towards making India a Vishwa Guru in the 21st century. This is a document giving direction to the society, with a modern mindset to fulfill the responsibility of the world, connecting the new generation of India with the root cause of India. On July 29, two years of this education policy will be completed. In the last two years, work is being done simultaneously in many dimensions like school education, technical education and teacher education.
Dharmendra Pradhan said that if we talk about the journey so far, then the new education policy is moving in the right direction. NEP has not asked to reduce any language. It has been said to be taught in the mother tongue. Hindi and English are not mentioned anywhere in this. Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Ahomiya or any other language. For us all these languages are the national language and there is a provision for these languages in NEP. This document is a philosophical document.
The Union Minister said that when Alexander came to India and returned after being defeated, he said that the king of this country can be defeated but this country cannot be conquered. For this teachers have to win. The British worked on it and tried to shake the soul of India. But the wisdom of India lives on in the proverbs. Leaving that aside, it is a part of NEP to make skill maker instead of skill seeker.
We don’t want to change history, we want to draw a long line
Dharmendra Pradhan said, the Home Minister had said that we do not have to erase anything. We don’t want to change history, we just want to draw a long line in history. Which is in our traditional history. We are adding some people who were left in history. How can this be called changing history?
The character of the armies of the world is changing, India has to change
Talking on the Agneepath plan, Dharmendra Pradhan said that the character of armies around the world is changing rapidly, so India also needs to change with it. Under this, a method has come. Under this Agneepath scheme has been brought. This plan has been brought after much deliberation. If a 17-year-old child is admitted at that time, then we will give him 12th degree when he leaves. The boy who comes after doing 12th will be given a diploma according to his service. That kid will be industry raided.
