During his visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 7 projects, lay the foundation stone of 12 projects and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 14 projects. PM will inaugurate a medical college in Navsari district at a cost of Rs 542 crore.
Assembly elections in Gujarat in the next few months (Assembly Elections 2022) and in such a situation the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in the state has started its efforts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) is also constantly visiting Gujarat. PM Modi to visit his home state Gujarat today on Friday (Gujarat Visit) and during this he will participate in the ‘Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan’ program in Navsari and will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several development projects worth Rs 3,050 crore.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave information about PM Modi’s visit on Wednesday. According to the PMO, Modi will inaugurate AM Naik Health Services Complex and Nirali Multi Specialty Hospital in Navsari. After this, he will also inaugurate the headquarters of the Indian National Center for Space Promotion and Authorization (In-Space) at Bopal, Ahmedabad.
PM Modi to lay foundation stone of 12 projects
During his visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 7 projects, lay the foundation stone of 12 projects and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 14 projects. According to the PMO, these projects will help in improving water supply in the region as well as boost connectivity and ease of living.
Prime Minister Modi will perform Bhoomi Pujan for 13 water supply projects worth Rs 961 crore for the residents of Tapi, Navsari and Surat districts during today’s visit. PM will also perform Bhoomi Pujan of a medical college in Navsari district, which will be built at a cost of around Rs 542 crore, which will help in providing affordable and quality medical facilities to the people of the area.
In the information given by the PMO, it was said that PM Modi will inaugurate the Madhuban Dam based Astole Regional Water Supply Project constructed at a cost of about Rs 586 crore. The PMO said that this water supply is a miracle of engineering skills.
Also, ‘Nal Se Jal’ projects worth Rs 163 crore will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These projects will provide safe and adequate drinking water to the residents of Surat, Navsari, Valsad and Tapi districts. Modi will inaugurate the Veerpur Vyara substation built at a cost of over Rs 85 crore to provide electricity to the residents of Tapi district.
A sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 14 MLD at a cost of Rs 20 crore will also be inaugurated for Vapi town in Valsad district with the aim of providing waste water treatment facilities. Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate government housing facilities built in Navsari at a cost of over Rs 21 crore. He will also inaugurate the roads constructed from Pipaladevi-Juner-Chichvihir-Peepaldahar and school buildings at Dang constructed at a cost of Rs.12 crore each.
PM Modi to lay foundation stone of 8 water supply projects
Also, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of 8 water supply projects costing Rs 549 crore to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Surat, Navsari, Valsad and Tapi districts. The PMO said that the foundation stone of a wide road connecting Khergam and Pipalkhed to be built at a cost of Rs 33 crore in Navsari district will also be laid.
Under this, another four-lane road will be constructed between Navsari and Bardoli via Supa at a cost of about Rs 27 crore. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the construction of District Panchayat Bhawan at Dang and a factory to provide and fix roller crash barriers at a cost of about Rs 28 crore and Rs 10 crore respectively.
He will inaugurate AM Naik Healthcare Complex and Nirali Multi Specialty Hospital in Navsari. He will also attend a public function organized at the Health Services Complex, where he will virtually inaugurate the Kharel Education Complex. After this, he will address on this occasion.
PM Modi to inaugurate In-Space Headquarters
During his visit today, PM Modi will inaugurate the headquarters of the Indian National Center for Space Promotion and Authorization (In-Space) in Ahmedabad. The event will also see an exchange of MoUs between in-space and private sector companies working in the field of space-based applications and services.
According to the PMO, promoting and enabling private institutions in the space sector will give a big impetus to the space sector and will open new avenues of opportunities for the talented youth of the country. The establishment of In-Space was announced two years ago in June 2020. It is an autonomous and single window nodal agency in the Department of Space for the promotion, promotion and regulation of space activities of both public and private entities. It facilitates the use of ISRO facilities by private entities.
