India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has topped the Global Leader Approval Rating, leaving behind 21 world leaders. PM Modi has been liked the most as a politician who has done the most good work among the leaders of the world. After him, Mexico’s President Andres Manuel López Obrador is at number two, while Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is at number three. This rating is for the last one week of March.
75 percent believed that Modi is the top politician
In the Global Leader Approval Rating from March 22 to 28, PM Modi has been approved by 76 percent of the world’s best politicians. Out of 100 percent people, 5 percent have not expressed any opinion about him, while 19 percent people have disapproved of him.
On the other hand, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has been liked by 61 percent people as a good politician. And 4 percent have not expressed any opinion about him. He has been disliked by 34 per cent people. At number three, 55 percent of people have praised Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as a good politician, while 12 percent people said that they do not know anything about him. 32 percent have rejected him as a good leader.
Modi left Britain and America behind
PM Modi has also left behind famous leaders like US President Joe Biden, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau as his favorite politician in a week. US President Joe Biden is at number 6 with 41 percent likers in this approval rating, while Justin Trudeau is at number seven with 39 percent. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is at number 10 with 34 per cent.
Rating for the last week of March
These new favorite or approval ratings are based on data collected from March 22-28, 2023. Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country. Its sample size varies from country to country.
Washington’s online survey and research company Morning Consult Political Intelligence has released this rating.
