Even after this, if someone steals liquor (Liquor) If found selling or buying, strict legal action will be taken against the liquor seller and the buyer under the Excise Act. Explain that after all, why has the Excise Department surprised the Delhi Government by imposing this ‘restriction’ in only two days and in some particular areas?
In fact, an order to this effect has recently been issued by Delhi Excise Commissioner AG Krishna. This order is dated 7th June 2022. In which this news has been confirmed. The two dates on which the purchase and sale of liquor has been banned in some areas of Delhi are June 21 to June 23 and June 26, meaning a ‘ban’ of 4 days only at an interval of a few days. Whereas on June 21, from 5 pm to June 23, this restriction will remain in force until, in 39- Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency, the voting process is completed peacefully.

After that, from 21 June to 23 June i.e. the day of the completion of polling i.e. 23 June 2022, it will be applicable. Similarly, on 26 June 2022, this restriction will remain in force for the whole day. The counting of votes for this by-election is to be held on June 26. In view of the elections, a ban has been imposed on the sale of liquor in this area of the capital.
