A drone was shot down in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Police advised residents to check vehicles before driving.

Policeman shared some important information with people through loudspeaker
In the border town of Hiranagar area, a policeman made the announcement over a loudspeaker saying that “we request the drivers and conductors of the vehicles to thoroughly check their vehicles, buses etc. before plying them.” Let us tell you that the police informed the local residents about the incident. Sharing information about this subject, a policeman said, “These magnetic and sticky bombs are used to damage vehicles. You are requested to check your vehicles thoroughly, especially before driving them in the morning.”
Police warns citizens
The police warned the people that they also have to check whether there was any magnetic or sticky bomb in their vehicle made of iron fuel tank or other iron parts. Apart from this, he asked the people to inform the police at the earliest if any suspicious activity is noticed in that area. It is worth noting that according to officials, the type of drone that was shot down on Sunday is the third ammunition-laden drone sent by Pakistan to the Jammu sector since June 2020.
Drone was shot down in Kathua
On 29 May, a drone equipped with explosives was shot down by the police in Kathua. Actually, Kathua is a district located on the border and for some time, drone-related activities have increased in the border areas. In view of this, the police was warning the local residents there that they should drive only after inspecting the vehicle etc.
