A big disclosure has come to light in the investigation of police constable recruitment paper leak case in Himachal Pradesh. SIT told that constable recruitment (Constable Recruitment) was leaked not at the paper setting stage but at the paper printing stage. Let us tell you, this committee was entrusted with the task of monitoring the printing of papers and maintaining secrecy. A handwritten question bank of 200 questions was prepared by the paper setting committee. In the investigation it was found that the candidates who had access to the paper knew only about the last 80 questions. Sources said the officials are contemplating recommending administrative action against four members of the printing committee, including a DIG and three SPs.
According to media reports, the candidates who had cleared the physical test were contacted by the agents with the help of coaching centres. The gang obtained the question paper through an organized crime network and passed it on to potential candidates with the help of agents. Let us tell you that out of 1,87,476 applicants, 75,803 had qualified the physical test. Of them, 26,346 passed the written examination held on March 27 at 81 centers in 11 districts.
Photostat copies had reached the candidates only on 23 and 24 March
On March 23 and 24, even before the March 27 examination, photostat copies of the leaked papers had reached in Kullu, Solan, Bilaspur including Mandi. Manoj Thakur of Balh was coordinating the delivery of leaked papers of all the four districts to the candidates, who was also involved in the CPMT scam in 2009. According to police sources, Chandragupta of Nepal delivered the paper to Manoj on March 23 in the paper market divided into Solan, Kullu and Bilaspur. Chandragupta had first asked Manoj to come to Zirakpur to get the paper, but Manoj refused. After this Chandragupta had to come to Mandi. The center of police constable recruitment examination was also made in Zirakpur.
