IFFCO had discovered the world’s first nano urea liquid for commercial use last year. Which was tested on 94 crops of the country. At the same time, for the first time in 2021, it was produced for the common farmers. At the same time, IFFCO has also established a new plant in this episode. Which is going to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
Kharif season has started in the country. Under which the farmers from the government are busy preparing for sowing paddy, the main crop of Kharif. In this episode, Indian Farmers Fertilizer Co-Operative Limited (IFFCO) has also made its preparations. Under which IFFCO is trying to overcome the shortage of nano urea liquid in the country before paddy cultivation. Under which IFFCO is going to start a plant of Nano Urea Liquid manufactured in Kalol. Which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. According to the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a seminar of leaders of various cooperative institutions on ‘Sahakar Se Prosperity’ at Mahatma Mandir Gandhinagar at 4 pm on Friday, where he will also inaugurate the Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant manufactured at IFFCO, Kalol. will do.
The plant has a production capacity of 1.5 lakh bottles per day.
During the Kharif season, farmers need fertilizer in large quantities. In view of this, IFFCO is going to start this plant as soon as the Kharif season starts. Actually this plant is special in many ways. According to information received from IFFCO, the plant is capable of producing 1.5 lakh nano urea bottles per day. Capacity per bottle is 500 ml. IFFCO has built this plant at a cost of Rs 175 crore. Keeping in mind the increase in crop yield using nano urea, this ultramodern nano fertilizer plant has been established. It is expected that after the inauguration of this plant, the shortage of nano urea in large quantities in the country will be overcome and the farmers will be able to get nano urea easily.
IFFCO produced 2.9 crore bottles last year
IFFCO has developed the world’s first Nano Urea commercially. Which is considered very important for the change in the field of fertilizers. It was also produced by IFFCO last year. Under which IFFCO was successful in producing 2.9 crore bottles of nano urea in the year 2021-22. Which is equivalent to 13.05 lakh metric tonnes of conventional urea.
Nano urea liquid was launched on 31st May 2021
IFFCO had discovered Nano Urea Liquid in the past years. After which about 11,000 agricultural field trials were conducted on more than 94 crops of the country. Then it was started on 31 May 2021. According to IFFCO, farmers can reduce the consumption of normal urea by 50 percent by using liquid urea. In fact, a 500 ml bottle of Nano Urea Liquid contains 40,000 ppm of nitrogen, which provides the nitrogen nutrient equivalent to a bag of normal urea.
