Yoga guru and Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev is back in the spotlight with a bold health claim. In a new viral video, he says drinking Amla and Aloe Vera juice daily can cure over 100 diseases, from constipation and infertility to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. He calls the mix a “maha rasayan” or powerful rejuvenator in Ayurveda.
Ramdev suggests adults take two teaspoons of each juice mixed with water on an empty stomach, and children can be given just a few drops. While many fans are excited, doctors are urging people not to believe everything blindly.
What Baba Ramdev Says Amla-Aloe Vera Juice Can Do
According to Ramdev, the juice combo helps balance Vata, Pitta, and Kapha – Ayurveda’s three doshas that control health. He also recommends adding herbs like Giloy, Neem, Tulsi, and Haldi to boost results. For constipation, he suggests mixing the juice with hot water.
He shares that Aloe Vera juice can help with piles, fissures, infertility, skin issues, and even serious nerve disorders like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. For Amla, he says it slows ageing, helps with hair fall, improves eyesight, and supports marital health.
He says, “Taking Amla and Aloe Vera juice daily can save you from more than 100 serious illnesses.” He also believes it protects your “jeevani urja” (life energy).
Is There Scientific Proof?
Doctors agree that Amla is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants, and Aloe Vera helps digestion and skin. But there’s no strong medical proof that this juice mix can treat or cure major conditions like infertility or neurological disorders.
However, Experts warn that people should be careful with dosages and check for any health risks before trying such remedies. Ramdev’s video may increase interest in Patanjali’s Amla and Aloe Vera juices, which are already popular. But doctors say people shouldn’t replace prescribed medicines with herbal drinks without expert advice.
The juice may offer some real health benefits when used regularly. Still, claims of curing 100+ diseases need more research. Until then, it’s better to stay informed and take the “do ghoont mein samadhan” slogan with a pinch of salt.
