And it was told that the parts of the rope and joints of the cable should be monitored.
Along with this, it was said in the report that special attention should be given to keeping the rope clean and safe from rust, because the rope is more than 7 years old. It was said in the report that if any problem is seen in the rope, then it should be replaced immediately. Explain that this report was prepared by the Dhanbad-based Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, which works under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.
If there was a shortage in the ropeway, it would have been known earlier

Speaking to The Indian Express, Basak said that the 24 flaws that were found did not play a role in the accident. If we found any defect in the ropeway, I would have pointed out the problem immediately. Basak said the problem was not in the ropeway but in the structures surrounding the rope. He said that only the steel rope of the ropeway was involved in the safety test we did, nothing else.
CM announced compensation of 5-5 lakhs
After the incident of ropeway accident, CM Hemant Soren has taken a big decision. CM has announced compensation to the dependents of the deceased. The state government will give compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the dependents of the deceased in the accident. This decision has been taken in the high level meeting. Also, the state government will get the injured people treated.
