Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be on a tour of Gujarat from July 1 to 3. The main objective of this tour is to celebrate the recent wonderful victory in the Visavadar Assembly by -election and to launch the party's Gujarat joint membership campaign. The campaign will start from Ahmedabad on 2 July and will be spread across Gujarat.

Gujarat joint campaign goal

The party's goal is to add one lakh new workers, with a plan to include 5,000 local leaders. In the Visavadar by -election, AAP defeated BJP to get 51.05% votes. Whereas in this election, the bail of the Congress has been confiscated. This victory is special because Visavadar has been a stronghold of BJP for a long time. AAP not only retained its hold on this seat, but has also increased the difference of victory. Kejriwal has called it a semi -final of the 2027 assembly elections. Kejriwal challenged the BJP, calling Gopal Italia a hero. This victory has strengthened the position of AAP in Gujarat.
