West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has opened the door of Bengal for the investment of Adani Group. On Monday, the state cabinet approved the proposal to lease land in the Silicon Valley of Rajarhat.

Hyper scale data center will be built here. The data center will be built on a total land of 51.75 acres. State Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee gave this information after the state cabinet meeting. It is noteworthy that after the victory in the 2021 assembly elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced to emphasize on investment and industry in the state.
Mamta Banerjee has made it clear more than once that the government’s goal is to promote more and more industry and investment in the state. This time giving land on lease to the Adani group in the cabinet meeting is being considered as an important sign of this.
Land will be given to many cycle companies
The Mamta government is very excited about the issue of giving this land to the Adani group. According to Minister Partha Chatterjee, this will create a lot of employment opportunities. With that economic activities will get a boost. Adani Group has not only been leased in Silicon Valley, but many other decisions have also been taken. Earlier, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had announced to set up a cycle hub at Vidyasagar Industrial Park. At this time, in the cabinet meeting held on Monday, the green signal was also given to give land to four companies there, five acres of land would be given to each company. There will be bicycle manufacturing. UNIROX company will first invest Rs 10 crore and later about Rs 150 crore. Apart from this, land will be given to companies like Crimton Industries, Luna Tire. Each company will initially invest around Rs 10 crore here. In all, about 600 people will get employment in the four companies.

Let us inform that earlier Gautam Adani had met West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee in Mumbai. During this, Gautam Adani was proposed to CM to invest in Tajpur port.
