Benefit from these services
- Verify Aadhaar: Citizens can check the status of Aadhaar using this service.
- With this, people can also check the status of enrollment or update request.
- One can also verify the mobile number and email registered with Aadhaar.
- Apart from this, the Aadhaar holder can also search the Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID (EID) using this service.
- Apart from this, the facility of history of Aadhaar authentication, biometric lock or unlock is also available here.
- Aadhaar download, offline e-KYC, virtual ID generation, payment history, complaint filing can also be done on this mobile app.
How to use Umang app
- First of all, download the UMANG app from Play Store and log in.
- After this click on My Aadhaar option.
- Now you will be requested to link your Aadhaar.
- Then, enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code and click on Send OTP.
- Now enter your OTP and click on save. Once you have linked your Aadhaar, you will be able to download Aadhaar easily, download Virtual ID and avail various services without any hindrance.
Apart from this, let us tell you that recently Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has started a new customer service on Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology. This service will be available 24×7 free of cost. UIDAI has issued 1947 number to help the customers. This helpline number works in about 12 languages. That’s why people of any state of the country can contact by calling this number and solve their problems.
