Indian Railway: Dozens of trains are getting delayed by 18 to 24 hours due to heavy fog and cold in this winter season. Due to which the condition of railway passengers has worsened due to severe cold and fog.
Fog worsens condition of railway passengers, trains getting delayed for 24 hours
Indian Railway Trains Delayed : It is getting cold in North India. Normal life is being affected due to fog and cold wave. Train passengers are facing a lot of trouble due to the fog. In this winter season, dozens of trains are getting delayed by 18 to 24 hours due to heavy fog and cold. Due to which the condition of railway passengers has worsened due to severe cold and fog. Fog remained in most parts of the country on Thursday as well. and due to bad weather in some parts Indian Railways Has rescheduled many trains and changed the route of some trains.
Actually, visibility has reduced due to dense fog. In such a situation, the speed of trains has slowed down. Dozens of trains are running several hours late from their scheduled time. Due to dense fog on Thursday, 23 trains of Northern Railway are running late. And many trains were cancelled. These canceled trains include passenger, mail and express trains. Due to this, the rail traffic of Jammu, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal has been affected more.
Many long distance trains to and from New Delhi were canceled due to fog. Apart from this, due to fog, many trains are running late by 9 to 10 hours. There are many trains which are getting late by 24 hours.
These trains were also late
- The Gorakhdham Express going from Bathinda to Gorakhpur is late by 13 hours.
- Jaynagar Amritsar Special is running late by 11 hours.
- Champaran Humsafar Express 9.15 hrs
- Saryu Yamuna Express 7.30 hrs
- Nauchandi Express 4.15 hrs
- Bhopal Pratapgarh Express 3 hrs
- Triveni Express 4 hrs
- Ganga Sutlej Express 3 hours
- Kota Patna Express 8 hrs
- Jammu Tawi Bhagalpur Amarnath Express quarter to 3 hours
- Howrah Amritsar Punjab Mail 5 hrs
- Doon Express, Farakka Express and Himgiri are late by three hours each.
Meteorological Department also warned
Senior Scientist of Meteorological Department, Dr. R.K. Of. Janamani says that after 24 hours a decline can be seen in the dense fog prevailing in North India. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in central India including North India has decreased by 1-3 degree Celsius. The lowest temperature was recorded at Narnaul in Haryana at 2.4 degree Celsius. For the next two-three days, the temperature may continue to remain low at certain places of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
