With the Umang app launched by the government, you can now withdraw money from your PF account sitting at home. For this you have to follow some important steps. Earlier, many trips to the bank or PF office had to be made for PF withdrawal, but now this can be done through the Umang app.
How to withdraw money through Umang app
- To withdraw money from your EPFO account through the UMANG app, you will need to link your Universal Account Number (UAN) with Aadhaar.
- Download the UMANG app and register using your mobile number.
- Select the EPFO option from the many options available on the app.
- Enter your UAN number by selecting the Raise Claim option.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number with EPFO.
- Select the type of withdrawal from your PF account and fill the form.
- Submit the form and get a number for withdrawal request.
- Track the application for withdrawal using the number provided.
- EPFO will transfer the money to your account within 3 to 5 days.
