If you have an account with State Bank of India and you get many fake calls in the name of the bank then you need to be careful about it. Regarding this, State Bank of India has issued an alert for all its customers regarding fake calls. SBI asked its customers not to click on any link sent from fraud numbers. If you get a call from any other number and are asked to update KYC, then you do not have to give any bank related information, otherwise you may be a victim of fraud.
All SBI customers are requested not to click on any such suspicious links and the bank has asked its customers not to pick up the phone and not to click on the KYC up date link. The bank has asked to be careful of such links not only on calls but also on SMS, email etc.
Do not share numbers like your Date of Birth, Debit Card Number, Internet Banking User ID and Password, Debit Card PIN, CVV and OTP with anyone. Apart from this, always be careful with the phone calls in the name of SBI, RBI, Government, Office, Police and KYC authority.
Do not download any app on the phone or any app through any unknown source on your phone. Do not click on any links in mails and messages sent by unknown people.
SBI says that beware of any kind of fake offers that you get on social media or messages and phones. Keeping your bank account number, password, ATM card number or even taking a picture of it also puts you at risk of leaking your information, you also need to be careful.
