According to BSE data, LIC closed with a market cap of Rs 5,13,273.56 crore on Tuesday, May 31, while ICICI Bank closed with a market cap of Rs 5,22,519.50 crore.

After the fall in the market cap of LIC India, the company has slipped from the sixth position to the 7th position. ICICI Bank in terms of market cap (ICICI Bank) Has overtaken LIC. ICICI Bank has overtaken LIC to become the sixth most valuable company in the country. After ICICI Bank and LIC India, HDFC Limited is 8th and the country’s largest state-run bank State Bank of India is at 9th place.

After these two companies, HDFC Limited closed with a market cap of Rs 4,18,509.55 crore. Apart from these, State Bank of India closed at 9th position with a market cap of Rs 4,17,493.33 crore and Bharti Airtel at 10th position with a market cap of Rs 3,85,046.03 crore.
Reliance Industries Limited is the country’s most valuable company
Reliance Industries Limited continues to dominate the list of the country’s most valuable companies. Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Limited remains the country’s most valued company with a market cap of Rs 17,81,838.68 crore. The name of TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) is second in the list after Reliance. TCS closed on Tuesday with a market cap of Rs 12,31,197.61 crore.
LIC shares hit 52-week low
Let us inform that after listing on BSE and NSE, the shares of LIC fell to the lowest level. After listing with a discount, LIC has reached its 52-week low of Rs 801 per share on NSE. This value is Rs 148 per share below LIC’s issue price of Rs 949 per share. As on Wednesday, June 1, the price of a share of LIC is around Rs 815, which is still 14 per cent lower than the issue price of Rs 949.
