Manoj's birthday is on 27th February. He was born in the year 1976 in Gauriganj of Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh. He started writing poems from his school days. Once one of his friends took him to a Mushaira, from where he also started reciting the poems he had written. He did his early education from Gauriganj and then Amethi school. After that he went to Allahabad University, from where he did his graduation.
Used to work at a salary of Rs 135
When Manoj lived in Allahabad, he also used to work in All India Radio. This incident happened in 1997. It is said in the report that at that time he was getting a salary of Rs 135 per month. After graduation, Manoj went to Mumbai in search of a job. After going there, he met musician Anoop Jalota. Anoop Jalota had given him the task of writing bhajans. Manoj had not written bhajans before, but he needed money, so he agreed to do the work. He got Rs 3000 thousand for this work.
