Kamal Haasan On Bollywood Filmmakers: veteran film actor Kamala hasan has hindi cinema The builders have been given great advice in gestures. He has said that before watching English cinema, you should watch Hindi and Bengali cinema. During this, he also confessed that his biggest sources of inspiration come from Hindi cinema only. Hindi films are going through a bad phase since the Corona virus epidemic. Barring one or two exceptions, most of the films have flopped badly. On the other hand, many films being made in the South Indian film industry have earned record breaking earnings at the box office.
Kamal Haasan had recently visited Film Companion Adda along with SS Rajamouli and many other filmmakers. During this, he talked openly about films. On this occasion, a question was also raised about the current situation of Bollywood. He was asked what is needed to make a popular film? To which Kamal Haasan said, “You should watch Indian films before watching English films. Watch Hindi cinema and Bengali cinema. This is my advice.”
‘Many of my inspirations are from Hindi cinema’
Kamal Haasan said, “When you say that Hindi cinema doesn’t know anything, many of my great inspirations are from Hindi cinema. Some people whom I admire a lot are from Hindi cinema. North and South are called cinemas. Wherever the commercial world moves, the sun shines. Right now it is shining here (South Industry). We hope it continues to shine.”
Kamal Haasan’s Vikram did wonders
During this, he said that there was a time in my career too when films were not working. It was dark. Then the movies went on. He said that when you start working hard, films start running. Please tell that this year Kamal Haasan’s film Vikram broke many records in terms of earnings. The film has done a business of more than 400 crores.
