Pankaj Tripathi’s film ‘Main Atal Hoon’ is going to be released in theaters on January 19. This film is a biopic of former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. During a special conversation with NewsNCR Hindi Digital, Pankaj Tripathi said that not only my family but also everyone in my entire village has liked the trailer of ‘Main Atal Hoon’ very much. We are all eager to watch the film. After shooting this film, I have come to know Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji so well that I am feeling democratic from within. Will good films be able to survive the storm of Rs 500 crore and Rs 1000 crore that hits the box office every month? When Pankaj Tripathi was asked this question, he said, “Desi ghee is also sold in the market and intoxicants are also sold.”
Pankaj Tripathi said, “After Main Atal Hoon, I have started feeling a change in myself. Suppose, if I am angry with you then I will not show that anger towards you in public life. But I will definitely keep it inside. But after doing this film, I will not harbor this resentment from within and I have learned this from the character of Atal ji. This is the change I am feeling in myself and this is called being democratic from within. The team wanted to release Pankaj Tripathi’s film on 25th December, the birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but due to two big budget films ‘Animal’ and ‘Danky’ releasing on this day, it was decided to release it on 19th January.
