Kanpur IIT: IIT (IIT) Experts from all over the world will discuss Number Theory in Kanpur. The three-day International Program on Number Theory will begin from 27 February 2023. This program is being organized under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, remembering the contribution of great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on his 135th birth anniversary. ,
On the first day of the programme, more than 200 students from class XI to B.Sc from Kanpur and surrounding districts will participate. Number theory researchers and experts from around the world will discuss topics related to number theory in the program.
The event is part of a joint initiative of Vigyan Bharati and the Ministry of Culture (Government of India) to organize a variety of events across India to commemorate the contribution of Indian scientists to the freedom movement under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav . Under this initiative, the program on Number Theory is being organized by the Kanpur Metropolitan Unit of Vigyan Bharti Brahmavart Prant, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and C3iHub.
Vedic maths will also be discussed
Professor Abhay Karandikar, director of IIT Kanpur and president of Vibha Brahmavarta (Kanpur) province, said that Srinivasa Ramanujan is one of the best mathematicians in the world, who has made significant contributions in mathematical fields like complex analysis, number theory, infinite series. The aim of the symposium is to present his life and legacy to the general public, which inspires the graduating students of the country and lakhs of aspirants around the world.
Academics and researchers from all over the world will also gather on this occasion to discuss advanced theories in mathematics. More than 200 students from class XI to B.Sc from Kanpur and surrounding districts are expected to participate on the first day of the programme. These students will be exposed to the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan and the qualities of Vedic Mathematics during the first two semesters.
Coding and AI information will be given
In the third, fourth and fifth sessions, coding and artificial intelligence (AI) will be given information about new technology through STEAM show, creation of app by AI. Topics such as the relationship between numerology and the science behind yoga will also be discussed.
Mathematician Prof. among the experts involved on the first day of the program. Anokhe Lal Pathak, Vedic maths expert Sujit Singh, STEM Robo’s coding and AI expert Anurag Gupta, science and technology communicator Kaustubh Umar, senior physician Dr. BN Acharya and Yogacharya Amit Saxena.
On the second and third day of the conference, number theory researchers, professors and experts from various universities around the world will gather at IIT Kanpur and discuss related topics. Dr. Shekhar Chintamani Mandeji, outgoing Director General, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi will be the Chief Guest. President of Vibha Brahmavart (Kanpur) Province and Director of IIT Kanpur, Prof. Abhay Karandikar and coordinator of the program Padma Shri Professor Manindra Agrawal will also be present in the program.
