In this, the children are seen giving the exam but they have not even been given the question paper. Finding a solution to this problem, the teacher wrote the questions in front of the children, but not on the blackboard, but on the door of the classroom.
After this video went viral, the school got embroiled in controversies. In this, the school teacher is seen writing questions on the door of the room. A student of class eight said, ‘We were forced to sit for some time as the teachers did not provide us the question papers for the exam. Later, a teacher wrote questions on the door of the classroom.
Education happens at the door only!
Pravat Moharana, the father of a student, alleged that the door of the classroom is used instead of the blackboard throughout the year. At the same time, Jajpur’s District Education Officer (DEO) cum Holistic Education Project Director said that a show cause notice has been issued to the school.
“We have issued a show-cause notice to the headmistress of the school for dereliction of duty and asked her to reply within three days,” he said. If this is not done, necessary action will be initiated.
Meanwhile, Saraswati Panda, principal of Hingula Government High School, said that ‘the school had not received the question papers from the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. We have two smart classrooms. The school has over 400 students from classes 1 to 8 who are appearing for the exams. That’s why we had made seating arrangements in all the rooms.
Panda said, ‘Since there are no blackboards in the school building. So we had to write questions on the door of the classroom.
At the same time, officials said that the school located near Antiya village of the district was updated last year under the 5T initiative. Its objective is to develop infrastructure in educational institutions.
While reporting the incident, the news agency has also said that it cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video.
