What is the eligibility criteria?
- It is mandatory for students to have Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in class 12th. There should also be more than 50 percent marks in the board exam.
- It is also necessary for the student to have qualified NEET in the last three years.
- It is also necessary to have a medical clearance against any infectious disease.
- Must be at least 17 years of age for admission.
- TOEFL or IELTS scores are not required for admission in the Philippines.
How is the course structure?
MBBS course in Philippines is of 5.5 to 6.5 years. It also includes a one-year compulsory internship in the Philippines followed by a one-year internship in India. No student is awarded a medical degree until he completes his internship period. However, students are told that before taking admission in any medical college, they must check its course structure, because the structure of each college is different.

How is the admission process?
- First of all, students have to choose the college and then fill its application form.
- Submit soft copy of passport, HSC mark sheet to obtain letter of permission for admission.
- After the admission is confirmed, apply for a Visa to the Philippines along with all the required documents.
- Go for the interview at the Embassy of the Philippines along with the invitation letter and other supporting documents for visa approval.
- Visa is issued to the students after following all the rules of the Government of the Philippines.
How much is tuition fee?
Tuition fees in medical colleges of Philippines is 3 lakh to 6 lakh annually. Apart from tuition fees, the cost of living and eating in Philippines is 15000 to 20000 rupees a month. However, it is not mandatory for the students to stay in the hostel here. But in most of the medical colleges, hostel facilities are provided to the Indian students. Some colleges have hostel facilities in the campus itself, while some colleges have hostels nearby.
