NEET UG 2023: No medical institute of the country will give admission to any student after 30th August. Also, MBBS first semester studies will start from August 1 every year. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a notice in this regard. In the issued notice, NMC has asked all medical institutions to adopt such an admission process for this, under which MBBS first year studies can start from 1st August.
In a notice issued by the NMC, it has been said that the new guidelines will be applicable to all admissions in the MBBS course in the medical college in the academic year 2023-24. The guidelines under the Graduate Medical Education Regulation (GMER-23) Rules have been released on the official website of NMC at nmc.org.in. Which can be checked. The first year courses for fresh MBBS candidates will start from August 1, 2023, under the guidelines of GMER-23.

NEET UG 2023 Admission
The GMER-23 guidelines state that there will be a common counseling process for admission to undergraduate programs in all medical institutions/colleges across the country, which will be based on the merit list of NEET UG result.
When will be the NExT exam?
And the National Exit Test (NExT) will be conducted at the end of 17th or 18th month of that training in General Medicine, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pediatrics and allied subjects.
MBBS students of the academic session 2023-23 batch will appear in the NEXT exam in December 2027 or January 2028 as per the guidelines by UGMEB. NExT will be held every year in December or January.
MBBS Syllabus 2023
MBBS program, which is of four and a half years duration. It will be divided into three phases. The first and second phase will last for 12-12 months, while the third phase will be of 30 months. It will be further divided into two parts, first of 12 months and second of 18 months.
