NITI Aayog Internship: NITI Aayog is a policy think tank of the Government of India. It also offers internships to undergraduate/post graduate students or research scholars from recognized universities/institutions in India and abroad. Although NITI Aayog’s internship is unpaid, it offers a variety of opportunities in sectors like Agriculture, Data Management and Analysis. These internships are of minimum six weeks and can be done up to a maximum of six months. Experience certificate is also given on completion of internship. Internship in Ministry of External Affairs: The Ministry of External Affairs started the internship program keeping in mind the Amrit Festival of Independence. Under this program, each intern will also be given a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month. The person applying for the internship should be an Indian and his/her qualification should be graduate. A total of 75 internship programs will be conducted this year for a single term of three months. The internship period will range from one month to three months. However, this year’s intake is over. Internship in Department of Legal Affairs: The Department of Legal Affairs (DoLA) is conducting internships to give students experience in various specialized areas of law such as constitutional and administrative law, finance law, labor law, transport, arbitration and contract law. For this internship, students who are in the final year of a three-year degree course or are studying in the third to fifth year of a five-year degree course can apply for this internship. Apart from this, students who have completed LLB course can also apply for internship. This internship will be of one month and on completion of this, a stipend of Rs 5000 will also be given. Internship in National Museum of India: The National Museum offers research-oriented internships to its graduate and undergraduate level students to learn about the museum and acquire professional skills. If we talk about the internship period, then this internship is done for at least six weeks and for a maximum of 12 weeks. However, the deadline for the summer internship is over.
