JNU University: A case of ragging has come to the fore in JNU campus. A first year student has filed a complaint. The student told that her seniors have disturbed her so much that she is under stress. I can’t focus on studies
JNU Ragging News: A first year student of Jawaharlal Nehru University, JNU has complained to the campus administration alleging ragging against two seniors. The student says that her seniors are troubling her a lot, due to which Mentally is very upset. Taking this matter seriously, the university (JNU University) The administration has said that the matter is being investigated. In fact, on May 27, the student lodged her complaint with Chief Proctor Rajnish Kumar Mishra. In the complaint, the student has said, ‘Two seniors have been harassing me for a long time, due to which I mentally (Mental Harassment) I am feeling a lot of pressure. I am depressed for the last three months. It has become difficult for me to stay on campus because of the antics of these people.
Seniors used to call to wash utensils and clothes in the room
The student told that his seniors who were with him in his hostel for some time. He also said a lot of derogatory things about his regional identity. He also told that he forced her to work in his room. Like asked to wash their clothes, utensils etc. He used to call me ‘Aye Ladki’ all the time, never used to take my name. The student also said that both the seniors used to talk about my sexuality in many ways, due to which my partner’s behavior towards me changed.

They started looking at me with strange eyes. Many people started catcalling me. Due to these rumours, I am not able to concentrate on my studies. The student also told that the ragging girl students have political support. The student has demanded justice. JNU’s Anti-Ragging Cell in a statement on Wednesday said that the matter is under investigation and strict action will be taken against those found guilty.
