As per the schedule released by National Testing Agency, JEE Main Session 2 exam will be conducted on 06, 08, 10, 11 and 12 April 2023.

JEE Main Exam 2023: The first session exam for the Joint Entrance Exam for admission in the top engineering colleges of the country has been done. And the students are waiting for the second session exam. Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court regarding the 75 percent criteria in the JEE Main exam. The date of hearing has come on this petition. Bombay HC Will hear this matter on 06 April 2023.
JEE Main exam is being conducted in 2 sessions this year. The first session examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency in January 2023. Whereas, JEE Main 2023 second session exam will be conducted in April 2023.
What is the matter?
In a petition filed in the Bombay High Court, the petitioner requested the NTA to remove the 75 per cent eligibility criteria as “the marks obtained by them are not a true reflection of their actual potential”. In such a situation, students who have scored less than the eligibility criteria (75%) can score very high marks in the upcoming JEE Main 2023 exam. On the other hand, if these students are denied a fair opportunity, it will affect the future of lakhs of students.

Candidates have said that it is going to prove to be a very difficult decision for the candidates who have failed to secure 75 per cent marks in class 12th examination and especially for whom this is the last chance to appear in the entrance examination. Due to this, his career is also at stake.

JEE Main Session 2 Exam in April
JEE Mains Session 2 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency in the month of April. The registration process for the second session will close on March 12, 2023. Whereas, session 2 will be held on 06, 08, 10, 11 and 12 April 2023. The applying candidates are advised to check the complete details in the notification by visiting the website.
