Delhi School Fees: The Delhi government has asked private schools to submit proposals for increasing the fees. In the year 2020, due to Corona, schools were stopped to increase the fees.
Delhi Private Schools: Private schools running on government land in Delhi may present a proposal to increase fees for the 2022-2023 academic year. In 2020, the Delhi government had banned the increase in school fees.
Schools can submit proposals to increase their fees for the current academic year between June 12 (Sunday) to June 27. It is worth noting that the Delhi government has sought proposals for fee hike after a gap of two years. After the complete ban in 2020, the DoE had directed the schools not to charge any fee other than tuition fees and barred them from increasing the fees.
No school can increase the fees without submitting the proposal
The circular states, “The proposal submitted by the schools will be examined through any officer or team authorized by the Director of Education. Strict instructions are given to all such schools that till their proposal is not approved by the Director of Education, no fee will be increased. If no proposal is submitted by the school in response to this order, it will not increase its fee for the academic session 2022-23.
