Admission has started in nursery and KG classes in private schools of Delhi. For this, application forms have been issued by the schools. With parents till 23 December Kindergarten Admission There is an option to submit the application form for The first list of the children who will be selected for admission will be released by the schools on January 20. Schools have uploaded the Admission Criteria on their website.
At the same time, like last year, this year also the distance of the student’s house from the schools will be given the most importance for giving admission to the children. Most of the schools in Delhi have 50 percent seats in the Nursery-KG class, which will be given admission under this system. 25% of nursery seats are reserved for EWS/DG and children with special needs (CWSN). In many schools, 20 percent seats are reserved under the management quota. Apart from this, there are schools where 5% seats will be filled under staff ward.
How many points on distance?
In most of the schools in Delhi, ‘Distance Criteria’ has the highest weightage. It is very different because of the methods of measuring it and the points given by each school. For admission in junior school of DPS RK Puram, 50 numbers will be given on the basis of distance from the school.
Children living within a radius of 6 km from the school will be given 50 points. Those living within 6.1 to 8 km radius will be given 40 points, those living within 8.1 to 15 km radius will be given 30 points, those living within 15.1 to 20 km radius will be given 20 points.
Extra points will also be available on these conditions
Children who live on the junior school bus route at Bluebells School International will be given 50 points during admission. Heritage School Rohini has done the mapping of the living areas within the radius of 8 km. Those living in these areas will be given 80 points.
Those living outside the 8 km radius will get 70 points. In almost all the schools, extra points are being given to those students, whose brothers or sisters are already studying in that school or their parents have studied there.
